For Alzheimer’s disease patients and families
Alzheimer’s disease is a brain disorder often mistaken for common traits that come with aging. This misconception results in low levels of patient care provided to those who need it. There are lots of social biases and misunderstandings that come about with the disease. It is currently incurable and often causes a heavy financial and psychological burden on families. Within the United States alone, the population affected is high with an incidence rate of about 6,500,000 patients in the US.
We aim to improve the quality of life of patients with Alzheimer’s disease through promoting the development of Alzheimer’s-related industries. We hope to enhance communities' understanding and knowledge in preventing this disease by actively contributing to improving public policies in order to face the challenges of an aging society.
